Electric Scooter

After some advice please, my son has asked for an Electric Scooter for his birthday on 10th Nov. He will be 11yrs
I have read the legislation regarding Electric Scooters and we live in the middle of nowhere it will be used mostly at home.
I haven't a clue what is good or how to go about choosing.
I would love to know what I need to compare or which makes are good/reliable, please ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

#1 a helmet, even a skate helmet so to look cooler than a bike helment.

Being only 11, a 250w should be fine - Higher the watt the more powerful the motor to get up to speed and gradients. As he will be light i suspect 250w will be fine.

Using it in all weathers? If so only some are splashproof so can be used in rain like PURE scooters.

Try Mycle for one, I got this brand through Amazon and my son was 12 when he got it, didnโ€™t have a problem trying to control it or use it and he still has it 2 years on with no issues.

How big is your home??? Far too many people whizzing along pavements and roads on these. Please don't succumb to the pressure as he will quickly want to head out further. Speaking from experience
