memory recommendation for AM5 PC

any recommendations for 16gb ddr5 memory for the following system. not a clue about cas latency times etc. would like a mild memory overclock

    Read your mb manual for qualified ram modules that Asus have tested, or read some reviews for this mb to see what ram they used.

    I'd take that video with a pinch of salt. Trouble is, he's attempting to test memory by running what are essentially GPU stress tests with his 1440p Ultra settings benchmarks, and that really isn't really a valid way to draw a conclusion about memory performance. The guy's even doing stuff like turning raytracing on and to its highest setting, which is a process run entirely on the graphics card. It's a little bit like benchmarking a GPU by running CrystalDiskMark, and wondering why a 1040 gets the same performance as dual 4090s.

    Personally, I'd go for the faster RAM without reservation. £25 is peanuts relative to the cost of the system, and there are plenty of scenarios where the tighter latency makes a measurable difference.
