Make your own crackers - gift ideas?!

Tasked with filling with some stuff that isn't the general useless tat but possibly something fun.

Any ideas?!

So far I have:

Lego minifig
...

and my brain has fried.

I made advent calendars last year - small 'houses' which contained two identical gifts each day (two because it was for a couple). They were quite small at about 5cm square but 10cm tall. I used all sorts - lotto scratch cards, Molton Brown miniatures, Hotel Chocolate chocolates (wrapped in mini cellophane bags), bath bombs, Mac makeup minis, Jo Malone minis - I had great fun collecting the bits and pieces but I can't admit it was easy finding stuff to fit, but it was a huge success.

I'd rather have a bar of chocolate than a Lego minifigure any day of the week. To me that epitomizes the general useless tat you want to get away from, but you know your audience better than anyone here. I totally get that I will be shot down in flames for that opinion, but if I can't eat it or drink it or wear it, do I really want it? It is about understanding what the recipients would appreciate. You could stick a five carat diamond ring in a cracker and I would be a happy bunny, but my son would chuck that in the bin..

pair of gloves, or fluffy socks, or a scarf..

    all dependent on crackers size

What about a mini bottle of perfume / aftershave. You can pick up the multi packs and split them.

Lip salves, hand cream, face masks, nail polish / nail file.

Keyrings and depending on the size of the crackers you buy you might even manage to squeeze in a pair of socks (christmas novelty ones optional & you might need to take the original tags off them to roll them up and fit them in.

If they're for adults, a miniature spirit goes down well.
