New open box
Complete kit
This Linea 7000BTU Portable Air Conditioning Unit is not only intended for use in the bedroom, living room, or garage at home but also office thanks to it's side handles that make it easily portable and easy to use.
This sleek and small unit will not look out of place in any room setting, but it is big enough to make a difference with cooling the room with its strong wind and 2 fan speeds.
It features 5 operating modes: cool function, heat function, dehumidifier function, sleep mode & fan with variable temperatures between 16 - 32c.
It also features a sleep mode that can only be activated when in cool or heat modes.
In cool mode: After 1 hour the pre-set temperature is increased by 1°C, after another hour the pre-set temperature will again be increased by 1°C.
In heat mode: After 1 hour the pre-set temperature is decreased by 1°C, after another hour the pre-set temperature will again be decreased by 1°C.
The temperature will then be kept constant for 10 hours. All the indicator lights will dim. The fan speed will switch over to low speed for silent operating and cannot be changed to a high fan speed setting.
To exit the sleep mode, press the sleep button.

Yes it is only suitable for smaller rooms...I bought it for my Man Shed which is only a volume of 25 cubic M ...it's claimed capacity is for a room of 35-45 cu m which I would say is a bit optimistic.
It works fantastic lowering the temp quite quickly....I have it properly fitted against an outside wall which the outlet passes through... like I say at this price its a snip.
There is little or no description of the full spec on The House Of Fraser site or Sport direct but mine came with remote control and full window kit which I assume (but dont know) this does.
I did a full review in 2 parts inc install and timed temperature readings and noise measurements and running costs etc on my you tube channel "Tom's Man Shed" ...just search for "SilverCrest Portable Air Conditioner from Lidl" (edited)
The air cooler is £25

Great deal. (edited)
Edit: initially wanted to cancel to get 10% off but now want to cancel as doesnt seem too appealing tbh
So how do you cancel order with them? Raised a ticket which got rejected straight away. Only option left seems to be to refuse delivery (edited)

I also use this in A/C mode as it empties about 2L in about 7 hours run time (not sure if that's normal) but Trotech (my units) said it is lol. Apparently this is condensate.

Via a power meter it only draws 110W in any mode (120W on high fan). I left it in each mode for ten minutes no difference and overall it was on for an hour. No damage to the box or unit. As the power is well down on the rating there's no way it's actually doing the job so I've instigated the return process.
Maybe others should check their units too since I saw another comment from someone suggesting theirs also did nothing.
I know they said kids are expensive but I didn’t have this in mind!
You should find the outlet air hose is blowing cool-to-cold air out of the window. BTW heat pumps working like this are actually more than 100 % efficient in term of heating, i.e. cheaper to operate than a simple electric heater. The electrical energy they use is partly converted to heat directly (like in a simple heater) but some usefully "pumps" heat from the outside to inside your room. That cold air blowing out is the proof. Unfortunately, some cool, ouside air is also sucked in somewhere else, but this cool air will not be as cold so you still win (a little).
