In any case you need the paint code that will either be in your service pack or written on the door frame or the VIN panel or an additional code number stamped on the chassis under the bonnet.
Once you have this code you can just buy off ebay for a genuine paint stick or a specialist that mixes the colour but sells it cheaper on there or go to Halfords.
Find the code before you buy the paint. There can be differences despite looking like the same colour."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51340397","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"sussexroyal"},"datePublished":"2023-11-02T22:49:19.000Z","text":"The Range"},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51340893","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"C0mm0d0re_K1d"},"datePublished":"2023-11-03T01:47:15.000Z","text":"I don't know, but I wouldn't go to a main dealer. They are usually expensive for parts. Try checking prices at local car part place, specialist accident repair place maybe Halfords or search online."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51340962","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"RoosterNo1"},"datePublished":"2023-11-03T02:49:40.000Z","text":"A dealers \"nail varnish\" bottle would be a good investment... It should match the factory paint exactly - provided the car isn't 20 years old and been stood in the sun, in which case use a paint matching service as it will be faded.
Then PREPARATION is 90% of the job, done right the repair will be invisible."},{"@type":"Comment","@id":"https://www.hotukdeals.com/comments/permalink/51347019","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"cliosport65"},"datePublished":"2023-11-03T18:23:28.000Z","text":"I usually get mine off of eBay , always been great "}],"commentCount":8,"interactionStatistic":3,"articleSection":"Ask"}
