You should be able to get the C3 83" for 3599 via lg.com if you have a blue light discount, I believe there are also employer voucher sites offering 20% off.

Defo, it’s cheaper as if you sign up to be a member you get further small discounts but if you look in codes section there’s an LG Tv one giving 30% off

Imagine watching 1080p content on this, awful...
Just.Wondering
1080p will upscale perfectly fine, due to the processor in the TV, SD content will look poor, but a good 720p source and upwards will upscale just fine...

Would this be good for my 10 year old girls bedroom? Any reviews?
Found this 97’ model that would be much more appropriate.
And right now, they have a £5 off promotion, so even better reason to buy!

I'd hesitate buying any expensive TV from Argos, and especially a £4000 one.
My Argos purchased LG C1 OLED TV panel recently went faulty (a vertical line down the middle of the display) after 22 months of service, and I only had 1 year warranty.
Going down the consumer laws route with Argos is fruitless because they ask for an independent report from a TV repair company which states that the fault was inherent at purchase. The issue is that no repair company would state that, and Argos know it.
The cost of repairing my TV is more than the TV is worth, so it's scrap now.
I'd buy from Richersounds. They have the C3 with a 6 year guarantee and a free and decent soundbar for £4500. Easily worth the extra and the customer service is 100x times better than Argos too.
If you're going to buy a ~£4000 TV, don't buy from Argos and don't skimp on one with the manufacturer warranty.
Someone put this same warning on the HotUKDeals thread at the time I purchased mine from Argos. I didn't heed their advice. Now I'm the one posting the warning. (edited)

Totally agree but just curious, didn't LG want to help?

I'd need to degut the whole house to make sense of such a large TV, the 65-inchers in Curry's look huge to me.
dbuk2000
damn sucks for you. When can you start degutting the house? Spare no expense for this badboy. Might be cheaper to move hours first so you can fit this in.
