Small cheaper phones

I was very lucky to recently find a second hand Pixel 4a on Ebay for £60 with good battery life, but I dropped it after like 3 weeks of ownership and broke the screen despite having it in a case with a glass screen protector, haha. I am back to a Pixel 1 (battery life is like 3 hours now) trying to find a replacement. Unfortunately, there is just nothing new in my price range with a smaller screen and I am struggling to find a second hand Pixel 4a for a decent price again. It's ridiculous to be paying £100 for a 3 year old phone when the battery is likely to suck. The best option I have found so far is a Poco M5s, which has a marginally smaller screen than competitors, but is now sold out and too large anyway really. Ideally I would find a new handset for a max of £150 (as I am prone to breaking screens) with a smaller screen. Seems impossible these days. It makes no sense that Xiaomi or Motorola are not offering a smaller device when this used to be the standard. I personally don't understand how people cope with these huge devices. I cycle a lot and need pocketable. Any suggestions?

That's crazy they are the only manufacturer making one.

Glass screen protector is what caused my phone screen to break. Don't use them

Get a Motorolla with a rugged case & screen protector & get used to the size?

Another 4a? There are plenty on eBay for less than £150 for second hand ones and a couple claiming to be brand new for not much more!

If you're up to it you could buy a for parts one and look to fix the screen on the one you have. Probably cost you about £50 all in.

Otherwise you're SOL unless you can spend more or go a bit bigger.

Just buy the Motorola G32 currently £99. Near stock android. New phone with great battery. It's a mine field in the second hand market so why bother.
