Coffee suggestions

I struggle to wake up in the morning even after 8 hours of sleep.

Can you suggest a decent coffee I can make to help me wake up.

If you are struggling to get up after 8 hours of sleep, then the quality of sleep is probably suspect. Coffee is just a bandaid - hope you have checked out with a GP for any underlying health issues. Or it may be about environmental factors like noise, light, mattress quality, room temperature, etc.

I have been told I snore really loudly. I don't have apnea though.

    Here are some stats:

My bed recently had a mattress topper on it, but I have t slept great since we had that bed it's a firmness 5, 3 being medium firm.

I like softer mattresses but the other half likes the former.

I used to not snore when under 90kg, I'm 5"11 but since lockdown I'm 110kg.

I have a toddler who is demanding (as they all are at this age) but I do find myself yawning in the day when playing toys and games with him.

The GP won't do a sleep study because I don't fall asleep whilst watching TV/ doing day to day tasks.

You shouldn't be having coffee as soon as you wake up, wait around 45mins to an hour before you have some as you'll be chasing that high all day if you drink it before your body have naturally woken up.
    Are you taking any supplements?

I like an SL28 bean (Kenya).

But if that's too technical or specific, Costco does a nice house blend (Starbucks roast) or coffemule blend.

i need a lot of sleep, i used to need 10 to 11 hours of sleep! nowadays, i need 9-10 hours.

it was always a struggle to get up to go to work but i found that coffee was good enough to keep me awake when i get up in the morning. i would have 2 coffees before i leave for work and have abother coffee when i get to work. i found nescafe instant coffee worked the best for me.

i also found the commute into work helps to wake you up as well!

Replace coffee with 2x redbulls for a week to see if caffeine is really the issue here
