Anyone tried the new Totum Cashback scheme?

Was pondering joining and wondered if any HUKDers had already dabbled?

Seems you load up a virtual card on your phone from your bank and then use funds via the digital card/Google Pay or Apple Pay to spend it in store or online. Seems more of a faff but curious if this guarantees the cashback every time.

Probably better rates via Cardyard and Donut

Its ok, but nothing ground breaking. For most you can get better or almost as good rates through other means like buying gift cards on swipi/jamdoughnut/completesavings etc or via airtime rewards/cheddar.

Can you not add the cash back card details to your airtime account and double up rewards?

You can get the same card for free by joining the health services discount scheme, which is also free to join. I normally use the card while shopping at waitrose (as that is the only shop close by to me!)
