Wonder if this splits into two screens easy. I know some of the larger ones act as two rather than one large one ?

    See Microsoft Fancy Zones.

Anyone know the manufacture of the panel? Obviously it can only be a handful for IPS at this size ultrawide, I'm guessing it's likely Chunghwa or BOE? Possible hidden gem if its LG or Samsung?

    LG pal

I think the curvature of the earth is more prominent than this. It’s a good price for a 49” IPS.
    Sylvester88's avatar
That can't be true, as the earth is flat

I’d love to see a review of this, afaik this is the only IPS 5120x1440 panel, the others are VA or OLED

LG 49WQ5C is a 49" 5120x1440 IPS 144Hz. This might just be a rebadged LG for £200 less

    Looks decent

I wonder if this is better than the 34” curved. That was really disappointing with horrible colour smudging and very poor black reproduction. For that reason, I’d not touch this without looking at one first…and that’s not likely to happen.

Unlikely as this is an IPS panel, the 34 inch is a VA. The guy from Random Gaming in HD had a YouTube video up about it.

Watching the video on Random Gaming I noticed that the menu layout and look is ecactly same as my ElectriQ monitor from Laptops Direct.
    johnboylan12's avatar
Which model? How is the EletriQ one?

Does anyone know what warranty this comes with?

    Anyone go for this?

Have a 43in 1220p 120hz electriq suw, that I use for sim racing and flight sims. Not sure this is a big enough upgrade as will be £400 to change if I can can get £200 for my 43

This monitor still 599 now. I bought it and it is indeed nearly flat but it is alright for the price
