Flight prices

Last December I went to Thailand and as I booked pretty late the flight seemed pretty expensive.
What would be a typical price for a flight mid December for 2/3 weeks from Birmingham to Bangkok?

Many thanks in advance!

A lot of things affect flight prices - Time of day for the flight? Preferred airline? Seat type (economy/business class/etc)? Direct flight/multi-stops?

£682 with a 2 hour coach trip to Heathrow and fly with Royal Jordanian
Otherwise, £765 with Emirates direct from Birmingham.

Thanks all. I have looked at the comparison sites of course, but I am a aware flight prices change throughout the year so I had wondered what would be considered a good price, not necessarily the price available at the moment.

Anything under £500 return in my opinion is a good price

December is "peak" season and the prices would be VERY high as reflected in comment. Later you leave booking, it could get even more expensive.
