Asda rewards vouchers

There was a time when all we had to do was to take a screenshot of the asda reward voucher
The last few times they don't work. They only work if I have the asda account barcode
Has anyone else noticed this are you able to use screenshots without the account barcode

when did you make the voucher screenshots? (because they do expire 3 months after creating them). You'll know if a voucher is void if you try to use them after 3 months the voucher amount will still be removed at check out but will say 'item cancelled' when trying to pay the remaining amount. The only way to know for sure is to access your the account you made the vouchers with. Hopefully Asda will bring back the £5 first scan so you can create some new ones anyway!
(btw: you could set up a new account and use the current 3 scans for £6 to test. Just buy a banana and create a voucher for £1. Screenshot and use that £1 screenshot and see if it works) (edited)

I have checked and these vouchers were created november and december so they are still within date
But yes I am thinking about testing a more recent one

I have noticed you need to scan both barcodes now.

No doubt an extra security feature to make sure the redeemed voucher is linked to the correct account.

Just scanned the voucher barcode yesterday and it worked fine as usual.

I tried again yesterday. Yes, it takes the £5 off For example, and then it tells me put coupons aside
Then, when I try to pay the balance? Whether it's a £1 or whatever I immediately get the message item cancelled and it charges me the full amount

And to be clear, This is the barcode without the account bar code (edited)

So today I went back to an Asda that previously wouldn't accept the vouchers. One that was refused last time worked without any account bar code
Also one I created this month, worked without the account barcode

I think there was probably a glitch in the matrix
