    Hmmmm.... Courses for horses but I still think you're getting a lot better tablet if you can stretch your budget another £40 for the previous Lenovo M10 Plus Gen 3 deal.

    I know you pay £40 more but the build quality on the M10 is vastly superior. Its not just cheap plastic like this Acer here.

    On top of that you get a better screen - Still IPS but higher resolution, Better processor with the SD860 which is more power efficient than the MT8183. Comes with FOUR stereo speakers that have that ATMOS SOUND thing and are 100% going to sound way better than this ACER for video streaming. Better cameras. (8mpx vs 5mpx)

    if you do buy the M10 Plus from Argos. their units come with Android 13 and the bonus is you can probably still use the simcard slot in it as the version they are selling seems to be the LTE version despite saying Wi-fi only. Not tried it myself but I'll be taking a trip later this year and if it does support LTE then it will be a nice surprise. A sim card pin was in the box alongside the manual and other stuff so im assuming it IS the LTE varient.

    If youre buying the Acer for kids though. I would see why the M10 Plus wouldnt matter.

    If you mainly use a tablet for light gaming, web browsing but streaming youtube/netflix etc makes up 90% of your usage scenario. The M10 P will do all that and do it better.

    The SD860 is an older chipset and not exactly a power house though so dont expect it to run demanding games like genshin smoothly otherwise the tablet itself is very good.

    ::EDIT::

    Oh and the M10 P also has 128GB storage vs 32GB on this ACER (edited)

    I'm looking for something to watch movies on a plane. No other use. Will this be OK?

    How does this compare to a kindle fire max 11? (edited)

    I'd take any stock like version of Android over Amazon's implementation of Android any day of the week

    I am after a tab solely for using it in the Kitchen wall (with a 3d printer housing) for home automation. Just for that reason Acer seems to be fit the bill

    Home Assistant? What housing will you use?

    Hi. I got Lenovo 10 3rd Generation for £90 new from Very. I used 20% off buy signing up to credit plan but paid it straight away. A bargain i think.
