Looking for recommendations regarding water filters

I am looking to get a water filter system at home I normally buy spring bottled water which I think is so much of plastic waste so looking to buy water filter that I can fit underneath my kitchen tap for drinking. There’s so many options so confused. Water2 also keep popping up on Facebook tempted to give that a try but so many options on Amazon too. Some suggestions will be great thank you

I’ve just fitted a BWT under the kitchen sink filter and although the water tasted strange at first even though I let a couple of litre run through it it has much improved now.

It’s not cheap though and the only reason I have and fitted is it came with a tap that I purchased from fb marketplace, at something like £70 to replace the cart I’ll probably dump it after 6 months or so.

This is the site I was looking at, had a few questions and they were pretty friendly with their replies. The replacement carts are £30 or £40 dependant on the cart type so much more reasonable.

I've got a Water2 filter fitted under my sink. The filter lasts about a year before it needs replacing. Definitely can taste the difference to before the filter was fitted.
