Yet you've chosen to go out :/
Unfortunately people don't understand certain items like Special Delivery can't be left in a safe place or go to a neighbour.
It is also giving a superior service to someone who doesn't have a video doorbell.
I'll do the courtesy of press them, it is their doorbell after all, but I'll decide where to leave it, and what's allowed within the realms of the spec of the product. (edited)

Ring have no choice to offer self storage unless they are willing to let companies like eufy take over.
I bought a cover housing for it to keep the lens dry
Annoyingly I was thinking of getting the Reolink one plus cameras
Can this be hardwired? As my ring doorbell is and I want to get rid of it due to the price increase! TIA
Or is there one i can use with a data sim card?
