Just to clarify on the inclusion PCPP link, are you basically saying this pre-built is cheaper than doing it yourself?!

I was thinking it was about time I upgraded mine and this might completely change my approach!

if i get time to do PCPP; then im happy to provide them, i know most parts top of my head.

reason i provide them: people can see the value n part wise to compare what u could build urself, how much better it is then PCPP rates, or how much extra it is over pcpp too.

Sometimes ive done prebuilts that are £30/40 over PCPP because they shine in value against the Prebuilt market as a whole as the general system sellers are £100/£120 for that example

adding PCPP is more harm then good tbh, as it does throw in some remarks; wow its £10 less then PCPP.

but im not challenging PCPP, im challenging the prebuilt market, and the PCPP. is just ay guide.

but it also brings in more aware of a place that alot of folks dont know u can do list of parts for self builders,

some folks have given positive remarks of; thanks for the links, like the idea of the pre, but im a self and i used the parts n just change it a little to my custom style, but it got me going in the right path to begin.

Idea behind this 12400F is for a non builder, who doesnt mind adding in a card from elsewhere, some ideas on the site, but u can compare elsewhere, and more importantly we got ay fairly decent used market full of GPU's

TX550 will cover upto a nice "nvidia recomendation of 600W Easy."
+20 For the 750W gold for higher card.

H610 has X16 4.0 spec, so will cover all them cards that have issues on 3.0 too.

original is £370.00 extra £20 for the 750W gold.

that could add in the 7800XT at £475 = 865 system right there.

then u got the options of seek a upto £400used RTX 3080 . thats coming at £800 ideas. (edited)

    Hi Sarden (Fairpricedsystems)

I have a AMD Radeon Sapphire RX 6700XT sitting in the box would this be an ideal graphics card to go into this build any recommendations will be appreciated. (edited)

The benefit of 13400F DDR5 vs 12400F DDR4 wont make much difference really with a 6700XT if gaming over 1440, but it does get u on that new platform and gap opens more on a 1080 but not that as u may think really. but it will give u more headroom later on if u want to move past that GPU.

if u are of course doing CPU intensive stuff; thats when the ddr5 and the cores on the new revision i5 will come into play.

so comment i get "future proof" kinda falls into that scope future proof extreme hard word, but between the two set basis it is and u got the higher psu. too. (edited)

Eh, just pick up a cheap basic used card if you want to test the hardware. £20 posted or a CEX item can get you something usable untill you settle up for something more.

I'm looking for something that I can keep a small number of simple spreadsheets on, download films, general browsing, and using of computer emulators on. Will this do, not enough or overkill. I've looked at renewed on Amazon, ebay, new mini PCs etc.

this is designed for those who want to add a graphics card, sound like you don't need one, so the 5600g (better built in graphics) would suit you fine and is cheaper

This offer is still open I think:
