This is the standard price for this over the last year per the camels. Have bought one anyway as seems a handy size to keep in the tool bag.

The 18 inch is the same price for anyone who wants a bigger one:

    Nice info. Thanks !.
I've bought the 18", with the 50% saving, so will see how that goes. I do think the 7" could be handier for the odd nail, rather than using a claw hammer, so the 7" might come later.
    Both seem like useful things.

Why not just use the other side of a claw hammer then you just need one tool not two (edited)

    Because it's tiny and thin.
Much less likely to damage anything when working on trim, makes lifting flooring etc. easier, and also great for door-hanging as a bottom lever.
I seem to find uses for it and bigger versions all the time, while rarely using for nails.

I had fun taking gripper rods up with one of these, didn't snap any and all could be reused.

Great price especially for the larger one. Really handy for removing skirting board. Also I used to put a door back in its frame with it

Bought 1 from Toolstation last week for £7.99 but was 15 inch. Great for removing old skirting board

More than double the length of this, and probably twice as useful. This is quite limited in its utility by being so short.

Pro burglar here: decent as a back up crowbar but wouldn't replace a full length one in my toolkit tbh. For example this wouldn't have enough leverage to force open magnetically locked bike sheds, which is where I do a lot of my business. That said, it's nice and sharp for getting into window frames. Used it on many jobs but as I say, I wouldn't rely on it solely. Hope this helps any young burglars out there! (edited)

Good to see that it's made of alloy steel and not that pesky non-alloy steel

Good for when you go to London and get in a fight with that hubby who's packing the axe...
