Yes I echo the other comments, one of the genuine good apps. No ads, no purchases.

My grandson has known his upper and lowercase alphabet since before 18 months. He loves playing with letters and numbers and knows his phonics at 2¼. He can spell words like elephant, xylophone and jumbo jet and can sound words out.
Will let my son know about this so many thanks. (edited)

+1 to all of the positive comments about this. If you have you'd children who are just learning to read, it gives them a really fun and engaging way of learning. My kids loved it.

My boy put quite a few hours into his monster then accidently deleted his monster. Bit of a long shot but anyone know how I'd might retrieve it back?

Did you create a profile for the monster? If yes, and if the profile isn't deleted, it should be retrievable with a login.

Some would say it teaches youngsters to depend on screens as much as to read. I'm not saying they're right but it's worth thinking about. (edited)
