I’ve a cellular Series 5 but without a contract, but it’s good to know I can call the emergency services from my watch should I need to and my mobile isn’t within reach. You don’t need a contract to call them.

Well worth it! I upgraded from a series 4 I had for four years that was running on 18 hours battery life in the end
bought this with AOD off gets 45 hours battery life with sleep tracking as well

I have series 7 and I’m not gonna upgrade till I see ultra battery in normal series . Series 7,8,9 they all the same and same battery life . 2 days for me ain’t enough I want 4-5 days . But I’ll probably wait for series 12 to have it . Ultra extra 300 quid for longe r battery not worth it

Sizes for the Apple Watches are;
41mm = S/M
45mm = M/L
so this is a deal for an M/L size as O/P states 45mm.

If you do a LOT of workouts and use the watch to play music and track routes without your phone then yes.

For people who general have their phone with them too and don’t track workouts very often then it’s about two days battery life.

Wow. That’s quite something. I passed on my series 6 to my mother after 3 years and only had a small mark where I accidentally scratched it. Took it swimming lots of times too.

How did that happen?

You can indeed use Apple Pay. I think there was a limit of 16 cards but people have found that to have increased since the latest updates. (edited)
