About this deal

Customs duty may be charged on top of the headline price, usually on items costing more than £135 Information
Spotted this on AliExpress from the Baseus Official Store.

Not a bad price for this brand new power bank, designed specially for laptops. Seems to retail for around $99 in the US, although I couldn't immediately find any UK prices.

Comes to $75.25 delivered to UK at checkout for me = approx GBP 58.83 when using a fee-free card at the current exchange rate.

I think you can choose to pay in GBP on AliExpress but the best prices are when paying in US$ as they add on a percentage for the conversion in other currencies.

Make sure to use the $6 coupon on the product page to reduce the price.

Lots of reviews online, here's one: neowin.net/rev…ew/

Note that the quoted shipping time is 67 days so if you need it soon best to look elsewhere .

12000mAH seems pretty mediocre for the price.

It's quite large but thin. (edited)

Nearly £60 is quite a lot for this one, IMO. I appreciate that it is an ok brand and 65w. However, I paid £23 for my Ravpower 20k mah 60w. This was 2 years ago. At that time, the next best price was Baseus 20k 65w for about £35. I understand it is inflation and the prices go up, but if this is nearly £60 with discount and it comes from China, I don't even want to think how much is this in the UK now.
My comment is not about the time machine. My point is this is probably 3 times the price Baseus similar specs was 2 years ago. (edited)

Agreed, definitely not a bargain, specs-wise.

I guess the selling points are the form factor and perhaps the screen / app functionality (bit of a gimmick but I can see the appeal )

Personally I found it anything less than 99wh is pretty useless as I only need on-the-go charging for my LeGo. My ultrabook battery lasts too long anyway. I found a slim 65W PD charger (as shown in photo) to be way more practical.52377942-uaIvj.jpg (edited)

Wait you have a 65W knock off Mu charger?! From where?

Edit: egoshop.co ? I backed the Kickstarter for a couple 65W Mu Chargers years back and they never delivered. Now here we are years later they're available only I'm wishing they were 100W. (edited)

I might be missing something here but the baseus Blade origjnal is 100W and 20,000mAh.

I've had mine since the launch, great if you want something flat and packable.

For anyone considering this, there's mean't to be larger 140W 24,000mAh version in the works that is the real successor to the Baseus Blade HD 100W and should be out soon (edited)

This is supposedly about to drop around $18 starting on Monday as part of the AliExpress anniversary sale so that should make it better value. There should be coupons to bring that down further too.

I mean $18 less rather than actually costing $18
