LEVEL UP WITH INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE

The SX8200 Pro M.2 2280 SSD is XPG's fastest SSD to date and is designed for avid PC enthusiasts, gamers, and overclockers. It features an ultra-fast PCIe Gen3x4 interface that offers sustained peak read/write speeds of 3500/3000MB per second, outpacing SATA 6Gb/s by a wide margin. Supporting NVMe 1.3, the SX8200 Pro delivers excellent random read/write performance and multi-tasking capabilities. With SLC caching, a DRAM Cache buffer, E2E Data Protection, and LDPC ECC, it maintains high speeds and data integrity, even during highly intensive applications such as gaming rendering, and overclocking.

Experience Stunning Speed
4310119_1.jpg● Rapid PCIe Gen3x4 Interface : read/write up to 3500/3000MB/s
● NVMe 1.3-Support
● New Generation 3D NAND Flash : Higher capacity, durability, and power efficiency
● M.2 2280 Form Factor : supports desktops and notebooks with the latest Intel and AMD platforms

Is there any point in gen 3 SSDs when gen 4 are relatively cheap?

If your after a faster Nvme then a Gen4 is great, but most folks buy budget gen4 because its advertised as gen4 and dont look at the actual specs of the drive which is around the top end of gen3, this being a solid gen3.

most folks understand GPU market better, so in laymen terms:

    Budget gen4 = RTX 4060
    Excellent gen3 = RTX 3060Ti.

    ;-)

with the way the market is, if u want the speed of Gen4 , proper. best to invest in 2TB atm, about £110 atm via the kittty chap on here. (edited)

i'd buy it if they sold a £20ish USB-C enclosure.

agreed, my mobo only got 1 nvme slot but that slot kills 2 SATA drives in the process.

Great drive. I've got the 512gb version from 2019 running the win operating system. Might invest into 1 or 2TB

1tb is faster, but figure out your future storage needs
