It's just a specific use of the general £7 off £25 voucher that's already been posted here
    hotukdeals.com/vou…909

May as well post any random £25+ basket of Morrisons grocery items, and claim it's £7 cheaper.
Oh wait a minute, that's already been posted by Chanch32!

Take it from a heavy rice eater, Laila gold is much better and the discount code works. Go for gold
    TristanDeCoonha's avatar
What reasons do you have to persuade to upgrade on my normal rice purchase? Ignoring the obvious differences in some of scent or style (sushi), how is gold better. I'm starting to use more rice, so I need to justify to myself the extra cost

You don't need to buy 2 bags of rice to use the voucher.
You can use it on any basket of £25+ groceries.
Deal for the £7 voucher is posted here.
    hotukdeals.com/vou…909

It's a single use voucher, so use it wisely.
If you order 2 bags of rice you don't need, you won't be able to use the voucher on anything else.

Why say gluten free? We're talking rice here, a substance not normally known for the gluten content. Why not say vegan friendly or no added sugar if you want to jump on a bandwagon? Not saying this isn't a good deal, just don't see what gluten free adds to the description

I'm guessing that gluten containing grains, wheat barley etc. may well be sometimes handled in the same facilities as rice. So though all rice is by it's nature is gluten free there is the chance of gluten contamination. Presumably guaranteed gluten free rice has a path of supply, from harvesting to packaging, away from facilities that also handle other grains. This is the same as why some oats are sold as gluten free when actually all, at least at the point of harvest, oats are also free from gluten.

You do know that white rice is processed, right? Buy brown rice if you want healthy.

I don't buy rice unless they specify the country of origin. If you look at all the basmati in supermarkets, they never write the country on them. They just put the same rice in green and blue packaging to appeal to both Indians and Pakistanis! I prefer to know where it's coming from. Same with most food. Cheap garlic sourced from China, etc etc. At least in Costco it's labelled accordingly.

I prefer Salaam basmati rice, I tried Laila last time my wife and I hated it. Salaam Basmati rice all the way.

it only took off £7 for me. The price of each bag is £21.99. Doesn't do £20 for 2 bags. (edited)
    AgentSmith's avatar
You haven't read the comments. And the title is misleading. 10kg bag is £13.50. 2 bags is £27. The offer is £7 off the order (not specific to any item). So with that you get 20kg for £20.
