Agree about holding off for the new controller, 'codenamed Sebile'. Looks like a really good upgrade, but with all the new features could be £70 plus....£36.99 is a nice price t for a solid spare controller if you need it!

    When's this out?

So I want to use my Xbox series S controller on my pc but my pc doesn't have Bluetooth built in so can I just use any usb Bluetooth adapter to connect the controller or am I better to get an official adapter? Also will the vibration/feedback work, I'm aware it does via usb but I'd rather use it wirelessly if at all possible

To avoid any drama with disconnecting. Just buy a good company Bluetooth adapter like Tp-Link or Asus and at least BT4.0. BT has greater lag and is congested heavily hence Microsoft came with their own solution to connect wireless controllers to avoid all of that, especially input lag.

New version of the controller incoming next 6 months maybe June/July so if you don't need this. I would hold off

Update should help with stick drift supposedly...

I got fairly significant controller drift on one of these after probably just 7 months of very little usage, frustrating

Random question … I’ve bought two play and charge kits for mine, for use with pc, I can’t actually figure out if it’s charging or not. Plugged in it says 100% and unplugged it reverts to about 10 after charging. Returned the first but now I’m thinking this is a bug on pc

Are you using the latest version of the Xbox Accessories App from the MS Store, and have you updated to the latest firmware for PC usage via that app? (Requires connection via USB-C cable). This should show the correct battery amount.

Can I use this to play on Xbox app on Samsung TV or on firestick app? Will it work seamlessly. Thanks.

Yes you can, however the new upgraded controller is coming out by the end of June, so you can get that or get this at a much cheaper price. So personally would wait so you can see the reviews of the new controller and make your decision.

Great deal, went for the pink for £40 for my gf, we already have the white (connected to the Series S) and shock blue (I use on PC) but now she can move away from her DS4 when using the laptop! (it gets confusing when most games display ABXY and not Square, Cross etc). Would have gone for the white (bargain) if we didn't already have one!

I did the same and got the pink one for my wife and daughter to share. But annoyingly I did it on MS store last week with the 22% discount code which actually worked out more expensive than this! (edited)
  8. AP_White's avatar
It's annoying because Microsoft were offering 22% discount codes to celebrate their 22nd birthday recently. With that 22% coupon, I still paid more than this for the pink controller, which is now on sale for £39.99 on Amazon. Not worth returning for the £6 difference, but rather annoying all the same as it shows how inflated some of the MS store pricing is.

Got an excellent condition used gold and black controller recently, it’s got a slight grip on the back. Was only 45 on eBay!!

Does it come with USB dongle for PC Connection?
    Speedsurfer's avatar
No but it does support Bluetooth if your PC has that.

Ah too late for Very, had £30 off a £60 last week. That would have been crazy.

Even if the new controller comes out in 3 months.

Hopefully these go to £25 at some point like in the past. My stock is running low

Does anyone know if I can use this with Apple TV?
    Hawkandr0's avatar
Yup I use mine with the Apple TV. You can connect multiple ones too for local multiplayer for the games that support it.

Works well but you do need to switch the pairing forwards and backwards between your Xbox and Apple TV if you are using the same controller on both. Only takes a few seconds though.

Will amazon honour a 2 year warranty on this or you just have to hope it lasts?

And someone said microsoft cover it for 1 year. But not sure how I would claim that. Will it appear under devices? Then register warranty for it again.
