Sorry, my understanding was that it was now bundled with all Xbox One X consoles. If AO aren't advertising this though, then perhaps their stock is from before this was introduced (or I just got it wrong). CD Keys do often have it cheap though if you find it's missing.

How do you get PUBG for free? I've ordered the AO deal. Wouldn't mind PUBG as a little bonus.

Took you down to -200 - you're welcome!

Good deal this! I paid £450 from Argos just 4 months ago and it came with Fifa 18 and Assassins Creed Origins only. The Xbox One Elite controller is worth £100 on its own, I have two of them :{ I would have loved this deal! Heat added.

Freezing here £360 on ebay at the moment, even if you add in the elite controller at full price and pubg you'd still be saving a few quid going with the ebay deal

Never mind, least we can be thankful for autocorrect when it stops us getting ‘ducking’ heated with one another! 😁

Grr, autocorrected grey to great - you are correct no practical difference.

£24 for a 360 pad? You can buy a whole 360 for that these days.

The 360 Elite D-Pads were no different to the white pads; still crap.

It is perhaps referencing the 360 Elite which came with a black controller but those had grey d-pads so still not entirely accurate.

Funny thing is your right it does come across as trolling. But im being deadly serious! I genuinely want to buy 1 but then i cant find any of those "must have" games to go with it - all i see is forza or gow?

Here's the only game you need, it's similar to the one you are trying to play here.

Got 1 thanks. Just cant see any must own games to play

Doesn’t mean there a bad website because they are banned on here just means they have broken HotUKDeals rules maybe they were self promoting and I wasn’t saying about buying from them only to use them to price match at ao!

I found a discount code online for gameseek ‘tenner’ and mentioned this when I asked ao to pricematch and they said no problem and reduced the price to £389.99 with free next day delivery. Mine arrived today. See my recent previous post

CEX sell these for £3.50 I bought one today..

Don't just don't these are garbage, the battery capacity is very poor, the batteries breakdown after 6 months too. Just buy some 2500mAh rechargeable AAs and put them into rotation so you always have some spare charged to swap out. Since doing that I can game at least 3 times as long on 1 charge than with this rubbish

I actually picked this up in game last weekend for £9.99 with a red spot sticker on, even though their website shows a higher price

These have been 14.99 in Argos and game forever, everyone that needs to know, knows lol

Not sure if worth the premium over the standard black control £37.99 at Amazon?

Agree, none of my original pads are 100% working anymore, but the point is, these are "premium" products!! The most annoying factor for me was that the rest of it seems well made, it's just beyond a joke that MS have not fixed it

None of MS pads are made to high standards. Both my launch pads had faulty dpads day 1. other pads have had sticking triggers, stiff bumpers, my 360 pads had drifting dpads that would wedge towards a corner and make it hard to press that direction, and screeching squeaking triggers . It seems with each gen they build them to lesser and lesser quality standards. My old translucent green Xbox came with 2 Controller S's and they were bulletproof.

.....Willing to risk that their £99 pad will last more than 6mths more like. Please read the forum, THESE PADS ARE EXCELLENT APART FROM THE VERY WEAK LB AND RB BUMPERS. MS should be ashamed that they still haven't fixed this well documented weak link!! Trust me, I was one of the people gloating about how mine hadn't broken on similar threads where people warned of this fault, then it went :o

Nice price, though I would advise people to keep an eye out on Argos. Bought an Elite pad for £109.99 + got shadow of war for free hope this helps

Had mine over a year and it works fine, then I do tend to treat my accessories with care....i.e. not covered in gunk and scum and usage from every Tom, Dick and Harry. I even bought a second one..........

I'd rather buy from CEX for the warranty

home & Garden on eBay are cruddy as hell, they say refurbished but when it arrives i GUARANTEE itll be covered in crud and sweat and dead skin....

You have up 6 years protection against a faulty product(in England, 5 in Scotland), with the retailer who sold you said item. Regardless of what warranty is offered. You will however have to prove that the product has an inherent fault by getting an independent report. I've has this done free of charge by local repair shop on a 3 year old Xbox one. I was then offered a settlement which exceeded the cost of a newer S model so can't complain. I got this controller when it was released and not had any problems, thus far. I love it.

:p well they are being dishonest by not fixing what is a very well reported fault so I'd not lose any sleep (y) I just returned mine to Game for a credit refund, which I used to get a £60 MS Credit and one of the special edition normal pads, I was really miffed as this is a great pad... that one weakness is just unforgivable and rendered ours useless :(

Bought this for £120, had it a year so far and it's rock solid! Best controller ever made! Amazing

The rubber on the left grip is peeling away from the plastic on mine. I never have sweaty hands and the controller is treated good. I'll be seeing if i can get it replaced as I haven't had it long.

Scratch that, LB went this morning, MS couldn't be less helpful if they tried. They eventually said they would replace my 4mth old pad but that it would only have a 3mth warranty, says a lot to me, so they guarantee that a £120 "premium" pad will last 3mths?? Now off to discuss it with Game to see what they can do. My advice, avoid this "premium" product, it's fundamentally flawed

Yep, seems to have expired - no longer applying the auto discount when you add it to the basket.

Thanks. Just need the email as proof. I’ll try searching on a PC. But Argos said they will resend the code if they find it unused. Which it isn’t. Just wanted to go collect tonight as it’s reserved.

Xbox One Elite Controller £99.99 @ Amazon
Found 9th Oct 2017Found 9th Oct 2017
Amazon have just recently dripped the price of the elite Controller down to £99.99. A pretty good deal for a highly rated controller.

You're just not representing both sides in your argument. Yes, there's lots of DLC nowadays. On the other hand, we get plenty of sales now with games at low prices for those that wait a bit. And we get games that take far, far more resources to develop - what was the typical development cost of a top game in 1993, compared to now? And that's before we even consider inflation...

Poor drifting issues with FPS. returned as faulty within a month.

Voted cold as don't consider this a deal. I paid this back in the new year sale with either forza (I think) or gears of war 4. The controller is not the high quality I was expecting. It does feel heavier and slightly better quality. But feel Microsoft has way over priced these, and I would be dissapointed a few months down the line paying this price. I will be looking at 3rd party reviews or treating myself to scuff next time. Really this should be the quality of controller which comes with your xbox originally

Nope, it was from Game brand new when they had the offer of trade in an official x1 pad and pay £70ish, I had it for a loong time before I started to use it as I was using a new consoles pad (which the left analogue stick went faulty on) and hadn't gone back to playing FPS versus online which was my intentions of having the pad that unfortunately sat around its case (I'd also wanted it for forza but I didn't even pick up another forza until horizon 3 as playing a forza game with out my own background music is a big no for me).

Unfortunately you're ignoring the obvious economies of scale that are at work nowadays. Gaming is far more broad a pass-time than it was back in 1993, hence more sales, leading to more profit. As such, game prices are set at the level publishers believe they can command, they are not based on cost to produce, or sadly amount of content. Remember the failed attempt a few years ago at selling the latest COD game at rrp £59.99 ? The fact that game prices haven't changed much in 20 years is also related to how the big games can continue to generate income after release. GTA, COD, Battlefield - they all make huge secondary income from DLC for years to come. It's just not as simple as saying game prices haven't changed much in 20 years there's more to it than that.
