A great work/commuter bag. Good for carrying a laptop in the back, a packed lunch in the main with plenty of space. There's a couple of separate compartments for all your other bits and it is really comfortable.

I was dubious about spending this much on a backpack for work, (although I think I got it cheaper at Blacks) but it's worth it. (edited)

Any good as a cycling backpack? Concerned about back sweat.

Depends how far you go and how fast?if is a short relax commute than probably will be good or maybe you have an e-bike .Any backpack will get your back sweat at a point if cycling.

I'm a big fan of Osprey. Excellent quality. But the price increase is quite something.

To give you an idea of what I mean, I paid £46 for Osprey Farpoint 40 three years ago. You'd now struggle to get it for under £100.

Crazy to pay 80 quid for this

I know it’s been cheaper but I’ve had my eye on this a while so purchased. Cheers OP

i have this - it's perfect. carry ipad pro plus a 15" Latitude. Normally gym kit with towels (no trainers) plus lunch/snacks. SO many compartments it's awesome

Anyone comment on how this compares to the Comet 30 that has a deal here for features - I'm a daily commuter with a 16" MBP. Cheers! (edited)

They're very very similar, I'd go for Comet at 49.99 unless you like black colour and want that extra 4 liters of storage

That's my daily driver for work, travel and hiking for last 4 years (and before that - Comet for another 3 years) Amazing backpack, just like any other Osprey daypacks.

Osprey kit is pretty much indestructible and their customer service is amazing. Worthy investment if you plan to get years of use out of something.
