Is this the right place for this?
    Wammer's avatar
Well I'm glad it's here, as I would have missed it otherwise.

The rewards app is a confusing mess! They promote this deal on the front page of the app, then when you click through it takes you to the wallet page with absolutely no reference to, or explanation of, the deal.

When you go to convert some points to a voucher it describes the deal, but their branding is also a mess - it's a deal on adult clothing but it doesn't include George.com which is... Asda's clothing site. So is this in-store only? Who knows? Perhaps you actually have to work at Asda to understand their poorly executed promotions.

Thanks all the same for the deal - you reminded me to cash in points which were about to expire

I used the info provided by the OP to check what was included, as I couldn't find the info in the app either.

I think the George.com exclusion means it cannot be used online.

I find using the Asda app challenging at the best of times, but I am just back from Asda. I managed to create boost vouchers and used them at the self service till no problem.

Any way to get £12.50 worth of vouchers to double up to £25.

I can't seem to find a way to do 50p increments? Only £1, £2 etc
    Wammer's avatar
I bought £26.50 of goods. I doubled up £10 and £3 then paid the remaining 50p in cash. (edited)

Can I create a voucher several times, as long as I have money in my cashpot?
    Savvy_Sister's avatar
    Yes you can.

has anyone used this on george home products?
    Wammer's avatar
Yes, a laundry basket and a hair trimmer.
  6. jonk's avatar
What does "Home" include? Do things like washing up liquid or Laundry supply included?
    crumpetman's avatar
There is a fairly extensive list of included items if you look at the offer in the app. I could not see washing up liquid or laundry detergent/powder in the list.

so you can use for example £10 + £2 separate vouchers in one transaction/purchase? I wonder how many you can stack. Can you stack the regular green vouchers too or it's only the black double up vouchers?
    rimalpatel007's avatar
Yes, I've stacked two boost and one green no probs.
  8. Wammer's avatar
Yes. Don't know. I think so.
  9. jonk's avatar
Anyone know if you can mix vouchers from two different accounts in the same transaction?
    bertrum's avatar
i havent tried two double up vouchers from different accounts myself but doubt it will work as the vouchers are linked to each individual account (using two vouchers from the same account in one transaction works though)

Does anyone have a clue if men's electric razors would be included in this?

I asked the staff in store and she didn't know, but on her headset got hold of someone, they just said to look up in the t&c's (wow easy get out) which I have done, but it's extremely vague.
    Wammer's avatar
    Yes
  11. CremeDeMenthe's avatar
What happens if you don't use the full amount for example I convert £20 worth but only use £18, does the £2 go back in your cashpot?
    C.D's avatar
Was looking for something else and saw this
    asda.com/rew…rms
    T&C's
5.12 Vouchers can only be used where the total balance of your shop, is equal to or more than the value of the Voucher to be used (not including Excluding Items, and after any other discounts have been applied). This is the Voucher Spend Threshold. If the transaction is lower than this, the full value of the Voucher will remain on your ASDA Rewards account, subject to Voucher Expiry.

Thanks for the heads up! I bought some of the Mega Event storage boxes that are reduced this weekend from £6 to £3 and used this method to get them for £1.50 each.

Thank you so much OP for the heads up on this. I didn't think I needed anything and wouldn't be able to take advantage of the offer. However, OH's hair clippers gave up the ghost this morning. I've just converted £13 from my cashpot to get £26 of goods and also got another £2 into my cashpot for my 4th spend in March. Result!
  14. AcceptedWalnut's avatar
Used this as well as the staff double discount currently running to get dragons dogma 2 for £20.

So video games are definitely included for anybody else wondering.

Good deal looking at home on asda groceries stationary and magazines are in home, will they count? so are stamps though stamps normally excluded from all offers
  16. bertrum's avatar
good deal thanks (wish I'd noticed it before I used one of my standard vouchers on a £10 shirt this morning!)
    shanraja's avatar
    I know me too
  17. Saf.k's avatar
Dang, I moved all mine to Christmas cash pot. Nice find op thanks.
  18. TehSheep's avatar
Thanks OP. Wouldn't have seen this otherwise.
  19. jonnybravo's avatar
Assume you can use it on tvs and that instore
    Wammer's avatar
    Electricals are included.
  20. sandrabear's avatar
Can I use online or instore only
    Wammer's avatar
    Not on George.com. Don't know about Asda.com
  21. Michelle_Cunningham's avatar
Can you use this deal on console games? This is classed as entertainment right?
    aw22's avatar
yes it can, I have used it for a few games, but check the game is in stock before creating the voucher (no way of telling stock until you ask the staff)
  22. r3tr0fr34k's avatar
Very confusing doesn’t specify video games are included or excluded but specifically mentions things like books and games consoles. I’ve just completed a monthly quest so have £11 to double up, I’ll go try it on Zelda:TotK and see what happens. (edited)
    Wammer's avatar
I don't know if games consoles are included or not, but if they are, I can't see why video games wouldnt be.
  23. Moss.b's avatar
Wish they gave 6 months, would save up for ps5 lol
  24. Speadie_Speadie's avatar
Will this work with £100. Can I convert it to £200 of vouchers?
    Wammer's avatar
Check the T&Cs to see if they mention a limit.
  25. Ris7's avatar
Does it include kitchen items like pots
    Wammer's avatar
    Yes
  26. rimalpatel007's avatar
For inspiration and ideas, what items are on everyone's shopping list? (edited)
    Wammer's avatar
Games seem to be popular on here. Electricals such as air fryers, microwaves, etc.
  27. dealhunter6k's avatar
I know this excludes george.com but can you use it in the Asda Living retail park stores that sell no food? (edited)
  28. bvmjain's avatar
Vouchers must be converted by Sunday 7th April & used by 28th April
  29. shirlsky's avatar
Converted a £5 voucher and bought pj bottoms (adult clothing as per the terms) and some home stuff - bowl and plates. Did not give me double the value! Maybe the bowl and plates are not considered home stuff? Could not bothered to speak to customer services about it. Oh well
    bertrum's avatar
did you convert the 2 different types of voucher? the home and clothes are two different types of voucher so you'd need to convert for the bowls (home) ...and another voucher for the pyjamas (clothes) not the most intuitive rewards scheme tbh! (edited)
