For anyone that wants to know, I got two of these from argos and ran them both at the same time without interference.

There's one in Argos for a tenner, if you're willing to pay £2 extra.

Plasticpaddy

Look, you're the one who said "some" people and then began to single me out as an "individual" as being only my point of view just to amplify your point so either you've got more people standing behind you as you type (I don't know, hence why I pointed that out) or you've reached to conclusions that I'm alone in this view point and started talking about the world being to a certain way. That's simply rude. The hypocritical part is you want me to be reasonable when I am, while clearly with the above presumptions you made; you are NOT. I'll again clarify two things. I never said I want zero jokes. Did I? This is a website about hot UK deals. Is it not? I think those two answers should clarify who here has reached to conclusions and started strawman arguments to silence the other. I wish there was a way I could filter memes, humor so I can sometimes just scan the whole comments for valuable feedback before making a purchase or voting. This is all I wanted. Now just go away.

Timmybuktoo

What someone is driving at the moment and how big their engine is has nothing to do with this deal does it really?

leelukehope

So from me saying that some people might find a joke funny, that you do not find funny, you have come to the conclusion that multiple people are using my account and that I’m hypocritical? (lol) The only person jumping to any sort of conclusions and quite ironically, being hypocritical, is yourself. Yes, some people did comment on the thread not being on topic and I never said that it had stayed on topic (again you’ve jumped to a conclusion). I only commented on how you said some jokes are unfunny; to which I said some people might find those jokes funny. Thats really not a difficult concept to understand so I don’t understand your struggle.

I agree with the above but it's worth finding a Nikko radio control car if you are on a budget. However they are hard to come by now. I believe they went into administration a few years ago which is why I managed to pick up this bargain for a tenner hotukdeals.com/deals/vaporiser-2-nikko-radio-controlled-car-10-was-25-at-morrisons-2551445 for our youngest daughter. At the same time our eldest daughter wanted this newbright.com/products/r-c-ford-f-150-svt-raptor/ in green from Argos. Nikko one battery lasted three times longer, range was 6 times further and was overall built much stronger. Only downside to the Morrisons bargain was our youngest had to get used to steering the Nikko Vaporizer 2 like a tank but she soon got used to it plus I didn't have to worry about her flying through puddles! After almost 4 years the New Bright from Argos has stopped charging and the Nikko is still like new despite many smashes into kerbs! Worth browsing YouTube for reviews too there's this one smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/toys/construction-and-cars/radio-control-cars/nikko-velocitrax/p/151883002 but I don't think it has conventional steering but it looks fun :-) As a child I had a Tamiya Grasshopper & Tamiya Blackfoot and I've been impressed with Nikko products. Thankfully they were bought out last year so looking forward to more cheap fun toys which last!

Holdol

Thats brilliant thanks for the advice, will have a look. Might be able to stretch to the £100 mark

you_gotta_be_kidding

I presume by assault course you're referring to what's known as crawling. Basically driving over rocks, streams, hills etc etc The best like the traxxas trx4 or axial scx10 cost around £300-£500. But some really good budget options are Everest 10 or FTX Ravine but even those cheaper options will set you back about £100. I would avoid anything new bright or brands like red5. They're all show and are pretty useless. If you want to stick to £50 then search for WLToys. They make some really decent stuff for crazy cheap prices. Also for crawling the industry standard is 1/10 scale, but anything 1/10 to 1/16 will be ok for this. Just don't go any smaller like 1/24, the fun won't last long with something that small.

DoGMaN_X

The description is misleading, I have this car and it's 2 for remote and 3 for the car.

Holdol

My daughter is after a good radio controlled truck/car for doing assault courses in the garden. She has saved £50, can anyone help with recommendations? I'd prefer to buy from Amazon as I have prime delivery. tia

I had a Kyosho Mini Cooper (racing green, union flag roof) back in the day along with a load of mates. It used to be able to come down our cul-de-sac faster than my Dad in his 1.6 Orion. The controller (Futaba?) used to take crystals. God, haven't thought about this stuff for 25 years. Happy days.

Apocc

I had a Grasshopper years and years ago, it was great fun until my mate got a Mardave Marauder nitro and I just couldn’t keep up. I upgraded to a Traxxas Stadium nitro and that thing was amazing! No idea where that went though.... might have to check the loft!

Tax credits etc. and inflated expenses aside, it's well known that Apple have one of the biggest R&D budgets recently. Easily bigger than Xiaomi anyway. Not that this proves x is better than y Also looks like you have to login to view aliexpress items now, booo

Roger_Irrelevant

That's called Tax Avoidance. Hammering the expenses to reduce your overall profits and thus tax liability. (flirt)

anoned

Billions

Roger_Irrelevant

Nonsense. - Apple don't spend billions on R&D, they are behind the curve. New e.g. Xiaomi/Huawei etc. "China phones" (n.b. all phones are Chinaphones) have way more features for a lot less money. - Apple "mass produce them in sweat shops paying people awful wages" too. - Apple didn't invent the mobile phone, so any company making a similar (better) one isn't ripping off their copyright. - Consumers aren't daft and would rather spend £400 say on an alternative, better phone than a £1200 Apple one. They both cost the same to make, just Apple creams off way more profit.
