Bring back the witches hat and cheese cutter. Long deemed too dangerous.
Based on your massive sample size of 2 kids, you're speaking for all children across the UK? Well on that logic, I can categorically state that all children like brussel sprouts. Because mine do. We've got a swing in the garden. It's cheap tat, bought by a family member, and I'm surprised its survived as long as it has. It's 6ft. And I have spent hours of my life refereeing squabbles between my kids over whose turn it is to go on the swing. Clearly YMMV and there's no harm in suggesting that bigger swings offer benefits, but you don't speak for everyone.
I reckon I spend about an hour per week pushing two kids on swings at various parks. I've push them in a few 7 ft ones and while they will happily sit in them for a while they are really not great for either pushing of someone swinging themselves. I have no idea why the UK seems to be installing lower and lower swings because they are terrible. You need at least 9ft to make them something that they want to sit on for any length of time.
I wouldn’t be impressed either. Imagine bending down for push them. It looks awful.
Don't buy the swing for your baby, treat your wonderful dogs...
We bought one of these a few weeks ago. It's a doddle to put together and my granddaughter loves it I like the two different types of seat for then she gets older I'd say it's good value at that price Heat added
I was going to buy the plum single swing, but then found the below which had exactly the same dimensions and pictures for £50 less than this reduced price. https://www.argos.co.uk/product/2587284?clickSR=slp:term:wooden%20swing:1:39:2
I wasn't sure whether to get this or a carousel so I asked the salesperson about the pros and cons. He went on a bit and ended up saying it's all about swings and roundabouts really ☹️!
Two different products effectively doing the same thing. Can't comment on quality or the differences in fun factor (:I
Not sure of the differences but seems over priced. We just got this one https://www.therange.co.uk/toys/outdoor-play-equipment/climbing-frames-swings-and-playsets/play-swings/sportspower-single-swing/?gclid=Cj0KCQjwspKUBhCvARIsAB2IYusHbSD2N5db8xmK0rsD3OLMUHKKbHiQ2EAvn5V9qkBzubb5cECRhm4aAt9AEALw_wcB#197045

Had a similar swing but with the 'baby' seat. The problem is that you can't secure it, so even as a 2yr old, my daughter was able to tip it off I wasn't there. Not only does it need to be supervised but you need to actively stop it from tipping - good if you want to use it on concrete but we gave it away before she'd grown out of it.
Stability and construction issues seemingly (according to reviews). Seems you get what you pay for. Not sure if want to risk dtrs safety but will be a good deal for some.
Totally agree, best bin I have ever bought and I have paid stupid money in the past
Says 4.5 L in the product specification weirdly
Out of stock
Bought the full grey version of this from wilko for £8 and have to say its the best bin ive bought, no need for a fancy electric auto opening one, also very easy to clean unlike stainless steel etc. Bought previously
I have this one for the kids. It's really well made and strong. I have myself been on the swing and captains glider and I weigh about 75kg. Regarding the wood, it's held up very well over the last 2 years. I can't see any issues with it or have noticed any problems. I've had kids birthday parties with several playing on it at the same time. Fully recommend it.
I was about to recommend Dunster house instead. We just built one and it was £200 cheaper.
Honestly, it should last the 5-7 years it will take for my kids to outgrow it
For balance, we had the previous version of costco.co.uk/Toys-Baby-Child/Outdoor-Play/Playcentres-Climbing-Frames/Backyard-Discovery-Cedar-Cove-Playcentre-3-10-Years/p/339439 which is also cedar wood, for five years and I only treated it once. The frame was exceptionally solid and well made and I never noticed any signs of damage. We later took it apart and gave it to a relative when we moved house and their kids are still playing on it a year later. I have just ordered the following from Dunster house as it provides the perfect space vs playability for us but would not hesitate to buy Costco play frame again dunsterhouse.co.uk/monkeyfort-woodland-w3-8m-x-d3-4m?gclid=Cj0KCQjwl7qSBhD-ARIsACvV1X0ZeBmI6nSL7_zFmXGTZjNNopDmHOwuWVj1XVZCjIaj17W-88lxtNgaAhZTEALw_wcB
We had this. Steps are so thin 1 broke after a year. Contacted plum to ask about a warranty and they sent me an invoice. Couldn't be bothered with it so just made my own steps. I would say the quality isn't great. 3 years on and it's been moved on because I just don't think it's strong enough for my now 6 and 8 year old.

OOS everywhere for me for collection or delivery, on offer because they havent got any
Don't waste your money on this its way too flimsy, unless you are happy to bin it and buy another each year. The seat cloth began to fray the first summer we used it and then my 10 year old daughter came to sit next to me the following year, neither of us are particularly heavy and the seat ripped wide open with our bums falling through and we sat on the floor laughing about it. Needless to say I wont be buying another.
We got one of these last summer, had a rain cover for it. Everything was fine until the first storm hit in November and the cover acted like a sail, flung the thing into nextdoors new fence and bent all the bars on the sum shade.
To be honest I'd spend a bit more and actually see it so I can check the quality of all of it.
Sorry, but I can't recommend this item. I got one last summer, and it lasted 7 weeks, before the fabric seat started ripping...and I weigh less than 75kg. Fair play to Argos, who refunded it immediately, after I carted all the pieces gack to their store!

Ordered, been looking for one of these for ages. Really wanted the Aldi one but they are utterly incompetent with stock levels and customer demand.
Very comfortable, you wont want to get out!
