Great deal and a genuine reduction. Anyone know if these are much better than the cheaper alternatives? I have a cheaper USB powered version but wondered if the blade in this was more powerful to cut through veg / ice / fruit etc for smoothies

we bought two a month or so ago.

They aren't very good and we've gone back to a normal blender.

Cannot cope when making a protein shake and adding some frozen fruit.

Stops working at the slightest resistance.

Fair play to Amazon though as they refunded me in full and asked us to dispose of them or keep them.

Says a lot for how many they may have had back.

Seeing a lot of comments saying it doesn’t deal with ice and frozen stuff, for me it does as long as you put in min liquid, put it in the order it tells you on the slip (so ice at top etc) and make sure to shake before mixing (again, all in the instructions)

    Prime only deal

Can someone explain the benefits of this as opposed to blending at home and taking smoothie with you? As in, why is the portable element more useful?!
Not being sarcastic - genuine question!

Things like some protein shakes and VLCD shakes need to be made and consumed straight away, you can't make them then put them in the fridge for hours. So if you're going to work/gym this is great for making a shake on the go.

This site is now a subsidiary of Amazon!

Hot deal indeed and even cheaper than the certified refurbished. Does anyone know what's the equivalent wattage? Some reviews mentioned that it struggles to blend frozen food.

Good deal, it won't deal with ice or frozen ingredients if you're planning on that , I really only use it for protein shakes and it's so much better than the cheaper ones, well made and very easy to clean it's also pretty heavy

Have you used enough liquid when blending ice and frozen fruit? I don't have this Ninja but I never had issues blending ice with my portable one, so long as there was enough liquid to circulate through.

You can't do ultra thick acai bowl consistency smoothies, but a drinkable smoothie should be fine?
