£1.99 Happy Meal via app - from 28/03 to 14/04

  • A Happy Meal contains a choice of Fish Fingers, Chicken McNuggets or Veggie Dippers with an Apple and Grape bag or Carrot Bag side, plus drink options including water, milk, or Fruit Shoot.
  • The offer comes as McDonald’s announces its first ever UK Happy Meal partnership with the multi-player card game Uno, featuring a line-up of characters from DreamWorks Animation franchises - arriving at all McDonald’s restaurants nationwide in time for the Easter holidays (from March 27 until May 7).
  • The card game Uno sees each player competing to be the first to get rid of all their cards. There are six Uno card packs available, including the classic Uno card pack and five card packs with designs featuring well-known DreamWorks film characters from Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, Trolls and Megamind. Families looking for a book instead of a toy can opt for one of two Little People Big Dreams books - I Can Be an Astronaut or a I Can Be a Brave Adventurer.

    If it continues from last time, don't forget to add your free fruit bag / fruit side (it showed the charge but doesn't apply it at checkout). Milkshakes also don't have an additional charge, if it carries on from last time it might show the milkshake upgrade charge but doesn't apply during checkout

    All of the above worked via app and order kiosk machines for me last time

    Of course there is no guarantee the above will still work but it did last time. If it does... Happy Meal main & fries, milkshake and a fruit side for £1.99 is a bargain! (edited)

    Can confirm the fruit bag does not have a charge as expected based on previous Happy Meal promotions. Shows the 49p charge but does not actually apply it.

    Unfortunately some McDonald's restaurants will deliberately disable extra fruit bag option as you can order fruit bag separately.

    I'll probably get one today and will report back with details on the number of cards in the pack.

    The happy meal cards are slightly smaller and thinner than standard cards. The pack contains 1 to 6 of each colour, four draw one cards, four wildcards and an instructions card. (edited)

    I got to the point where I don't care what people think. I'll happily eat a Happy Meal in McDonald's and open the toy in excitement... joys of being a 25 year old eh!
