Have one at work but almost always use the scanner app on my phone instead for documents.
If you are just scanning a quote/receipt/whatever phone is fine, but if you wanna take HQ scans of things like deeds, legal stuff etc, a scanner is definitely better.
I ended up routing through my loft for mine!
I have the Lide 400 and Lide 120 and they are both amazing. Quality is also above any 3 in 1 I had. I like that you can throw several prints (6x4 or smaller) and it will scan them into separate files in one go (edited)
