    What about import duty?
    bozo007's avatar
Amazon includes everything, nothing extra to pay on delivery.

Is there no way to get this from amazon u.s and pay with dollars on a card like monzo/ starling without paying the extra vat making it around 90 dollars? As it was showing up for $69ish before tax added (edited)

It is dependent on the delivery address. Give a UK address and all platforms are required to add VAT by law. (edited)

    If you don't need 1TB, I purchased a similar Samsung model (512GB) for £33!

Was about to buy but as stated on Amazon "Manufacturer warranty will not apply"

Amazon will cover the warranty, but yeah as it's from the US I don't think lexar will honour the manufacturer guarantee.
You will only be able to return for a refund though no replacements.

This is a good price. (It's a bad price tbh, but for a 1tb card it's a very good price)

2 years ago at Christmas I managed to get a 1tb for about £110, that took some finding. (edited)

I was waiting for a cheaper price, after tracking it for a while. But I've had to pull the trigger at this price in case it sells out, now the masses know about it.

If you're thinking about buying the Switch 2 don't get a card, there's a rumour that it might use a new format, the little known SD Express which is 5x faster than this card. That's not to say that only SD Express cards will work but I'd be annoyed if that were the case.
