Are these any good for luggage when flying

If you're asking about the tracking ability, they are about as good as any other tracker so long as there's enough users around. But I've read that some airlines are banning them for use in check-in luggage under the pretext that there's a battery in it when actually it's just easier to shirk responsibility/ hide incompetence when your luggage goes missing and there's no tracker. Can't help you with the latter as I think it depends on the airline.

Better to wait for the Find My Device network to launch than have tags that can only be found by Samsung phones. That way every Android phone will be able to track a lost tag.

Just to add, rumour is this may launch soon, it was meant to launch in Summer 2023, but Google were finalising some standards and waiting on Apple to integrate unknown trackers.

Cheers OP, had 2 on order from Amazon for £35 but had enough Samsung Reward points to get these for free so just cancelled my Amazon order. Happy Days.

I use these on my employees. I put them in their tool boxes so I can track them or doing jobs in the side!

Samsung website is kinda notorious for sometimes not sending stuff for months. I remember the SSD deals had a lot of users waiting a long time for them

I bought this pack last week. I ordered it about 8pm Friday evening and it came delivered by DPD next day for free. I thought that was great.
I know what you are saying though, I was one of the people who kept getting my nvme drive dispatch date pushed back, but I don't think this deal will have the same level of demand.

Delivered in 3 days by Samsung, having ordered from Amazon and then being told it would take 6 weeks to deliver.
Bit of a faff on to get them set up, and the destruction booklet is in a micro font. But I'm at my daughters house and I can see the tags at my house on the app, so working ok.
