I got the 5 port one and wish I'd bought this one. The extra data USB C port is very useful. Only 5 quid more than the 5 port one so I would go for this one.

    These are absolutely spot on.

    Heat!

Want but have no use for it! (I use a tablet and controller and stream instead.)

I do like UGreen in general. I noticed that our local NHS Hospital uses UGreen USB3 hubs, so must be pretty reliable and well behaved?

They probably get charged £200 for each by the "official" supplier.

I like UGreen stuff but had this and sent it back.. screen periodically flickers on and off when playing on TV whereas the dongle style one I use (also UGreen) works perfect.

Funnily enough I ordered this 9 hours ago with same day delivery, it's coming in the next hour and half, I hope it's a good choice over the Steam branded dock! (I have no use for any of the additional ports but took a punt based on the price saving!)

The official dock has been known to have issues, so going third party is a smart move, both the Jsaux and Ugreen docks are well regarded! (edited)

Yeah I hadn't heard any issues with the official... However I was put off 3rd party docks based on some horror stories of them "bricking" the deck.

Anyway, set up, worked out of the box, no fiddling needed with settings, the deck was on 60% charge or so, within 2 hours it was fully charged despite being played.

The built in USB c cable which you plug into the deck could be a bit longer for ease, but I'm happy, it works!

I bought one of these about a month ago, it’s well built etc but it won’t charge my deck, the projected charge time just keeps going up and the deck slowly loses charge even when not in use 😩 think I’m going to have to arrange a replacement (yes I’ve got it plugged in at the socket )
