sorted by- Yes. Don't buy. I won a section 75 against Xiaomi over it and ended up with the 13T Pro and Pad 6 for free.
Unless you plan on filing a section 75 after they fail to repair it and tell you that they cannot refund it and can only do a second repair due to it being after 30 days even though this breaks the consumer rights act (only have one chance to repair). (edited) - Is this much of an upgrade to the Xiaomi 12t pro ?Better display (144 Hz), faster CPU, better cameras.
IMHO it is worth upgrading in that price.
Also it is guaranteed to receive updates to Android 14, 15, 16, and 17. It will also receive security updates for five years, until September 2028. - Great to know you will get 4 years of OS upgrades so that should take you to Android 17 & 2028 with security upgrades for a further year
- Can you remove the MIUI from this as found it annoying on a previous phone? TIA.Yes. You will receive the update to HyperOS and Android 14 as it was released for this model in last days of December.
If you want to completely change the OS you will need to unlock bootloader first. You have to do it before update to HyperOS because after that it will be more complicated or even impossible. Be aware that with any custom OS installed you propably won't be able to use Google Wallet for contactless payments or you will have to play with endless patching every week after Google updates his payment services. (edited) - Have you considered changing the price in the deal title to the £439 OP? Switchy has just posted a 13t pro deal from CEX, but new this trumps that in all honesty, espesh if £439 is the price!
What are people's thoughts on the fogging risk Vs taking the plunge? (edited)AuthorThanks - have changed it now but wasn't sure this was allowed when applying a voucher to a headline price
At this price I am willing to purchase and if the fogging is an issue then see if the workaround resolves it. Otherwise it's a return straight back to Xiaomi 🤞 (edited) - Nice find OP!
- Every other phone post seems to be for an Xiaomi model.
They seem to have more sales than Allied carpets (if you are old enough to remember)
On a serious note this looks like a good deal.
How is there customer service?
If the camera fogging is an issue could you return no issue?
*** Just read other posts *** (edited)No issues with customer service , pretty good , if you have continued problems , you've just got to be patient and persistent.
I only buy their phones since last 10 yrs. Had issues and had resolved - Why £450?AuthorNo idea - looks like someone has updated it as it's account specific?? I have an 12% discount and whereas you have 15%. Can't really tell who's been doing the updating. Just hope people read and check for themselves if they're interested in the phone
- You can phone Beijing free of charge with this phone.A direct line to Xi's computer (one way transmission to send him messages)
- Going to bite the bullet. Since note 10 pros been added to the list of End of whatever it's called, been looking for a phone been looking at this. Read about what people say about the camera but it's a lot of phone for the price. If I want the best of everything then I have to fork out around 1k ish. YoloI'm thinking the same
- This website is just simply terrible when it comes to offers, you simply can't trust any offer or promotion that it says you can get. For instance, it says £50 off £300 spend which doesn't seem to apply to this phone.Just read Terms and Conditions.
There is clearly written in the table what discounts apply to promotional items.
mi.com/uk/…tml - Yeah the 50 off doesn't seem to work on this phone, but did work on a cheaper note 13 pro that I still had in my basket from last week. Can't get the 24xff code to work either. It's a pass from me until a more reputable seller comes along.
- Cracking phone this is.
