this is a heartfelt and important message.
Four weeks ago, we contacted you with a promise that your free samples would be shipped soon.
It is with deep regret that we must inform you that we are unable to fulfill that promise.
Our company is facing significant financial challenges, and despite our best efforts, we have NOT been able to raise the necessary funds to ship the thousands of sample orders.
We acknowledge that we have made several significant mistakes and have learned the hard way:
Offering 100% free samples was not feasible for a small business like ours.
Promising that free samples would be sent free of charge within weeks was unrealistic and too positive.
Sending review emails for samples that were never shipped was a disaster.
Responding to emails from some customers who were aggressive to our team was a time waste. Just a quick note - all orders were 100% free and no money was taken from anyone, not even a penny.
Despite these setbacks, we remain positive thanks to the feedback from those of you who decided to cover the shipping costs and got to try our products. Thank You!
What Happens Next:Your current order will be canceled, between today and tomorrow.
However, you will be able to place a new order if you are willing to cover the shipping cost.
Our samples are now priced at just 1 penny each, and you can order up to 8 samples. Shipping for up to 3 samples is only £3.30 while shipping for 4 to 8 samples is £4.40.
We know it's far from the 100% free we promised you when you discovered us but we believe that is a fair and affordable option for customers who are truly interested in our products.
We are truly sorry for the disappointment. We are forced to take this decision given our circumstances.
If you don't want to hear from us anymore, please remember that you can unsubscribe at any time at the end of this email or any email you receive from us.
If you have sent us an email regarding the samples and have not received any answer from us; We are very SORRY but it was simply impossible to answer all the thousands of emails about sample orders not being received.

We've experienced a significant and unexpected surge in sample requests due to our free sample page being shared on various freebie sites approximately 3 weeks ago.
This overwhelming demand led to our system crashing, hindering our fraud detection capabilities and resulting in substantial financial loss due to multiple orders from individuals exploiting our generosity.
We're a small, passionate team dedicated to reducing household plastic waste through premium, reasonably priced products.
Traditionally, we've relied on word-of-mouth and the distribution of free samples (Not Giveaways, as some people thought) to introduce potential customers to our offerings, rather than investing in costly marketing strategies.
In light of recent events, we've had to reassess our sample distribution process.
Moving forward, priority will be given to regular customers and those who have made additional purchases alongside their sample requests.
This adjustment means that sample orders will now undergo a thorough review process, resulting in an estimated delivery time of 4-5 weeks.
