10ms response time for a "gaming" monitor... I don't know, is that on the low side?
    mossmanfly's avatar
As a gaming monitor it is high considering some tout 1ms. But majority of TVs with gaming modes are much under 10ms. Human Response time is consider 200ms at best. You also have input lag from controllers etc. So while it adds up the difference of a few ms on a display isn't going to be noticeable. Also consider a 60 FPS game generates a new frame every 16ms.

m.media-amazon.com/ima…pdf is apparently the user manual. It comes, I think, with a USB C to USB C, USB C to USB A and an HDMI mini to HDMI standard cable. It has two USB C ports - one use to power it if used in HDMI mode or the USB C data cable can't provide enough.
It doesn't appear to come with an actual power supply, UK plug or otherwise (BICBW). It seems to need 5v at 2.4A.

I was looking at these with a view to adding yet more screens in my workshop - but there doesn't seem to be any mounting holes in the back... Also, that "delivery can take a long time" - I've no idea where I am likely to be at the end of April and later...

I've been using This one since December hooked up to a Raspberry Pi5 on a swinging arm that pivots out when needed, there are only two mounting holes but I've found them plenty strong enough to hold the monitor.
It also has touchscreen, and the Pi5 powers it through USB, so no PSU required.

Does this have freesync or vrr??
    Arkz's avatar
freesync is vrr. But no, it doesn't mention it.

Laughing at the "5-day delivery" and estimated delivery date.

It'll never happen, and they will send you a £1 apology coupon that doesn't work.

To be fair I ordered a wireless stretchy controller for my tablet and it arrived in 5 days and that was over Easter as well. Ordered in the earlier hours of Thursday morning and was delivered Tuesday. (edited)

I had one of these. Bought it from Amazon for £119. It does have a type of freesync called VRR (variable refresh rate). This option appears in the AMD drivers program. I played Quake Live on it (which is a type of twitch FPS) and I didn't noticed any lag at all on the monitor. It performed really well.

It wasn't perfect though. The anti-glare coating on the screen was too thick in my opinion and was noticeable when reading text but when gaming it was fine. The panel i thought tended towards the red side of the colour spectrum. It also had a bit of light bleed around the edges. (edited)

Does this have a built in media player so I can connect an SSD to play movies from? Can't see it anywhere in the specs

Did you find out mate? I've ordered one anyways but would like to know this too

Not for gaming at 10ms the delay will be insane
    mossmanfly's avatar
Not really, majority of LCD TVs with gaming modes are not that much quicker in a 100% pixel colour transition.

Are credit card payments especially protected <100GBP?

How would this be for a camper van to use with a fire stick or downloaded films etc. onto a usb-c drive or similar? Need a new screen after stepping on my 12v telly, don't ask. (edited)
    lhunfhun's avatar
With some steps hdmi female to female for the fire stick and a good pd car charger should do the job

I need a screen which can produce a mirrored image (reverse, backwards, image flipped) can anyone advise if this has the ability or if they have a portable screen if it exists as a feature on their model.

    Thank you.

Is it the 60Hz refresh rate that would let the touchscreen version down when plugged into a ps5 or xbox?
