The reason why it costs a lot is that "5" in the IP 65 rating - It's quite difficult to seal a heating element that expands and contracts and also gets very hot. A lot of electric Bathroom heaters don't have that rating. Indeed, mine are so lacking in seals that they live in the barn, most of the time. eg fastlec.co.uk/ir1…ord
It's only twenty five pounds or so - but only IP20.
