This is or the Redmi note 13 pro please?

Almost identical specs-wise but camera on Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is slightly better in standard light & moderately better in low light.

    You mean the X6?

I'm a little surprised people put up with a Xiaomis version of android. It's a mess.

I had to return the X6 Pro as it the OS was so butchered vs clean android.

What aspects of the miui did you not like.

The link took me to the phone with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (instead of Dimensity 8300)

Hmmm , this or the X6 Pro for a few more £ ?
    zomgwtfbbq's avatar
This if you ever plan on trying custom ROMs. X6 Pro only if you're happy to always stay on Xiaomi's version of Android.

    Forgive my ignorance.
But I assume with Xiaomi phone I'll still get the adverts?
    Deal_HUNT3R's avatar
Yes there's adverts here and there. In the themes app for example

Nice deal. I only wish they did these Poco and Redmi phones in 1TB storage versions

I have this device as does my wife paid about £15 more for it than this but well worth it at the price range. It's far from the likes of Samsung s24 (or what ever the latest is) or an iPhone but then it's not supposed to be, it's a budget device with a budget price.

For me the only thing lacking is esim support but with dual SIM it's not too much of an issue!

I've had the Redmi Note 9 Pro for the last 4 years and am looking to replace it with a similarly-priced (£200ish) phone - had the Redmi Note 5 prior to this and neither have ever missed a beat. This deal looks to fit the bill perfectly, would it be considered a decent upgrade?

I use my phone for web-browsing, Twitter, Reddit and not much else. Mainly looking to upgrade for the extra storage (currently 64gb and deleting apps constantly) and 5G (currently 4G). Camera doesn't bother me too much. If anyone can directly compare the two I'd be interested in your thoughts.
