I'm still using this phone ,it's buttery smooth. And with the latest hyperOS update has brought march 2024 security update.

Personally think the camera is good on this.

It's more than good and even better with a compatible version of Google Camera (GCAM)

That has to be a stonking deal for a brand new phone that isn't full of compromises. Yeah it's probably not going to get Android 14 but from what I've read Hyper OS should keep it feeling fresh. You are probably going to get a couple more years of security updates too but it's worth checking.

Anyway you're getting an SOC that was legendary not so long back, awesome cameras that would put most new midrange phones to shame, a big battery and a load more other stuff including an 90hz AMOLED screen and wireless charging.

Come to think about it, my Mi10T Pro was the last phone I thought 'wow' and genuinely loved and now every phone that has followed is just a 'meh it does it's job'

    mmm rum

Great specifications indeed and a decent deal but the problem or rather the question is whether one should be bothered or rather be concerned about OS and Security Updates?
Same goes more or less, for the other excellent deal posted by OP this morning

I had this phone in 2021, used if for a couple years then gave it to my daughter. She still has it and it's still going strong.

Great spec for a low price. These received the Hyper OS update but it looks like they may not be getting Android 14. Good deal if you’re not too bothered.

Whats your opinion guys here about snapdragon vs. mediatek chipsets ? What would be everyones first choice bettween the two if you buy a new flagshipi smartphones! Midrange pricepoint ? Answers and replies will be helpful? Thank you.💯 ✅✅

Important and legitimate question at this juncture which I am not smart enough to reply except to say that although the processors of mobile phones are the hearts of mobiles phones, they have to considered in totality with numerous other aspects.

I have recently gone back to various mobile phones I have possessed over time and most of them have been with MediaTek processors which have served me very well.

I look forward to reading other people's contributions on the subject but hope that some wouldn't go on about developers and modders when most of us I dare say are not competent enough to tackle modding etc for one reason or another. (edited)

    Great phone. Not great camera.

I'd say the camera was quite good. It took better pictures than my wife's iPhone 13. Admittedly the zoom was useless.
