    Can get a great clone of this from Aliexpress for around £5-£6 from a brand called Skmei. Have had one for about a year and hasn't missed a beat.

    Do you mean the newer model? I got it and returned. The LED light is unacceptable. It is too bright on the LHS of the display where it is installed. Looks cheap and uneven

    Can any owners give me a rough estimate on the overall battery life?

    Set and forget usage so no alarms or messing with unless to set the time and maybe use the stopwatch once in a blue moon. Be interested if battery life can be squeezed an additional 2-3 years above the stated lifespan.

    Easily more than that. With your sort of usage probably 5+ years. Easy battery change too when you'd eventually need it.
