About this deal
This Prospex piece is a recreation of the ‘Panda’ Chronograph from 1972. The original evolved from the first Speedtimer (6139) in 1969 and is revived again to achieve a modern sports aesthetic.
The latest Panda inherits many design features from its original inspiration: the recessed subdials with orange highlights on the second and sub dial hands and ‘flow-shaped’ case with comfortable multi-row bracelet echo the earlier model. It has a dual-curved sapphire crystal glass and comes with an additional black steer leather strap option.
From the Speedtimer collection, this piece has chronograph functionality, allowing for the measurement of elapsed time. The in-house 8R48 mechanical calibre allows for a slim and compact case design. This movement beats at 28,800vph, and has a power reserve of up to 45 hours. This piece is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide.

A quick Google:
WHY SEIKO CALIBER 8R48 IS THE MOST ADVANCED CHRONOGRAPH MOVEMENT
There is no denying that Seiko is among the top contenders in the world of horology and the timepiece industry because of its endless journey toward augmenting and refining its watches, their feature, and most especially, their movements.
Leaning on the words “revolutionary” and “most advanced”, Seiko has proven again that they are always further steps ahead of the rest.
