    A good brand, but what does "Homeowners" mean ?

    Is this like the opposite of (say) a Bosch Professional, so they knock out a lower quality product for the masses ?
    Or the seller just losing the plot ?

    Files normally have the same surface on both sides. 'Homeowner' is Bahco's term for files that have a different surface on each side. The idea is that a 'homeowner' will want just one file to do all general jobs around the home. In this case, it's a general use metal file with a smooth side and a rough side and a wood file with a rough side and a smooth side. They are the same quality as their normal files.
