    Can somebody explain what makes a knife good? I have a three quid special from Wilko (collector's item now!) and it works ok. All it's gotta do is hold blades right? What am I missing?

    comfort while using, control, safety, grip, spare blades in the handle (always a bonus). can it handle being dropped from 1st or 2nd story? general things that make a knife good in my opinion.

    Just had this delivered to replace my Stanley. Does what it's suppose to do but may not hold up to being thrown back in tool bag often.
