i have the 36v model, but even that struggles with long grass (if i leave it to long which is more often than not). Still a good price for small lawns. Heat OP!

I don't know if this helps. I have the DLM 431 which is a 2x18v (36v) and, according to my rough math the motor is circa 700w having to push a 43cm blade around. This one would be about 350w but only has to push a 33cm blade around. Even with mine if I to cut the grass every week (dry) it's fine but it would struggle if I left it any longer and always with the first cut of the season. So this one might actually be okay as long as you're not expecting it to match a corded mower and cut often which is actually better. Also one of the captive nuts on my handle has stripped which is a real hassle and not an easy fix!

Personal I would not buy an 18V mower, they are well under powered and don't last long. 36V to 42V seem to be doing a good job specially a good make..I.would not say this is cheap with no battery or charger. (edited)

I have 18V makita strimmer and when compared to 550W corded black and decker, it feels like a toy.

Not sure if it helps but I purchased a Dlm382ct2 in 2022 and it has been faultless. (edited)

I've tried many electric but nothing as of yet has held a candle to my old briggs and stratton flat head.

Extremely reliable, simple and fault tolerant if you can get one of them. Start on the most stale of fuel at the beginning of every cutting season.

When mine dies I don't know what I'll do. (edited)
