I instantly walk away from these listings... you can see that even the pic showing the wired in bits n bobs has been photoshopped by snipping parts from the other photos over and trying to blend them in a little... If they cant even be bothered taking a photo when in use... I dont trust the quality at all.

Bought one last time. Just sent it back because it didn’t work.

I plugged the output of this into a one of those £9 INIU power banks to see if it would charge it (it’s rated at 5V 3A output BTW) and absolutely nothing happened.
Didn’t fancy plugging a random Chinese charger into something expensive and popping it.

I personally think this is a good price, but there's easier and much quicker ways to do this. Search online for OBD port power supplies and save yourself a couple of hours for the sake of another fiver. Plus you can easier remove the cam and power supply between vehicles.

If you're going to hardwire get a camera that has a guard mode. Then you need on off these with 3 wires so it knows when the car is on and off and still powers it.

Working fine for me - tapped into a ignition-live only fuse and dash cam switches on and off. Quite a good amount of length, reasonably quality cable that tucked away neatly. Hasn't blown up yet and the controller doesn't seem to get warm after many hours of driving.

I bought one for my Nextbase. Didn't work. So I bought an official one. It worked with no issues. Sometimes paying a bit extra is worth it.
