sorted byThe real issue with Fuji's lens lineup is the distinct lack of high quality glass (that is small enough to sensibly use on a small body). Most of them were made many years ago to cater for 16mp and 24mp sensors and at that level they're fine.
The X-T30ii / X-T4 / X-S20 processor is also better in AF consistency and much better with false positives which is something you don't see talked about much with the youtube camera reviewers who don't use cameras but only review them. Smaller channels - actual photographers - and in forums it's discussed at length however.
That's why I sold my X-H2 since the rate of false positives, even with up to Feb 2024 firmware, was diabolical and an absolute disgrace for modern cameras. FYI, false positives are where the focus box lights up in green - you take an image - but actually nothing was in focus in the green box!
And that's even in great lighting, stills, different lenses, different focal lengths, AF-S and AF-C modes. I've shot 100,000+ actuations with Fujifilm cameras so know what I'm doing haha.
Basically fujifilm's processor used in these current 40mp cameras isn't good enough.
Will wait till the next generation of processor to test out their 40mp cameras.
Because of this I'd say for an actual photographer NEEDING accurate results the X-T30ii is actually the better buy even if priced the same as the X-T50.
