Just buy a UK to EU adapter for a quid or two and use your regular charger.

yep, I'd recommend that too given the size of this uGreen plug, people may have a difficult time slotting it into some sockets as well

GAN 3 I thought the newest was GAN 2??? (edited)

There are no official GAN versions. It's all marketing so manufacturers can say whatever they want 😮‍💨

I use an Anker charger with a separate figure-of-eight cable. You can swap the cable out for EU, US or Australian cables, and it works fine. It's far easier and cheaper to carry a few mains cables around. The same arrangement goes for laptops and cpap machines.

Awesome just in time before my trip

You can just buy a standard poundland style UK 3 pin to Euro 2 pin adaptor(s) for your current chargers.

Feels like this is on offer more often than not.

Can massively recommend the Lencent range from Aliexpress. Come in multiple different versions but I have the 65w GAN one. The advantage they have over this is the sliding plug sockets so you can use in Europe, US. It also has a UK slot so you can use all the time rather than just a travel plug (as I do). The 65W I have is a similar price to this, 100W is about £25, there are cheaper low powered versions too.

    Is that British safety standard?

On a total random angle, cos I buy my fones through Ali express I always end up with an EU charger. Which is great for travel but means loads of EU to UK adapters dotted around my flat. I'm bored
    AlexanderCarlJakubowski's avatar
Why not just buy a UK charger?

For this price you can get a 100w universal travel adapter on Ali

Always annoyed that Italy needs thinner prongs.

Oh, I just bought this for Italy! So it won't work then?!

Like most bits of tech Mr Switch posts, I own this and whilst it fits the bill, it's very bulky. Recently I've subbed it out for one that folds down. Make of that what you will!
    curridd's avatar
How much was your one that the charger pins fold down, out of curiosity mate?

Been using this from UGreen.  Comes with U.K., EU, and US adapters.  Been great for charging iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch on the move.

Paid £39.99 originally.  It’s now £44.99 but currently has a £10 off voucher on the listing.

My tip for travel is to take a 3/4 gang plug extension and you only need 1 travel plug! Happy travels.

So what are you plugging in to the 4gang?
