sorted byPersonally, if I were to visit Turkey for a holiday, then I would avoid package deals like the plague and book my own itinerary. It's actually quite fun to do it yourself and research where you're going and take control of your holiday, rather than leave the responsibility to dodgy tour operators.
Also, try to book international hotels - where available - as far higher standards and not necessarily super-expensive. (edited)
