    As usual Sainsbury's will NEVER add the points. Pretty standard for them to run these promos for products like Fanta and Walkers crisps, but not honour them as they aren't regulated.

    I have never had any problems. I select the bonus from the Nectar app (the weekly ones require opt in), then use the self service app to scan and pay.

    The nectar points bonus is based on. What you buy regularly. I would love to have extra points on butternut squash, but it's so overpriced. If you have any local market you can pick up loads of core furit, vegetables very cheap. I get the core heavy bits on my Sainsbury's shopping. I eat two can or 1 can or kidney beans each day with a portin of lentils. You get more carbs and protein from them. Also, I eat a lot of offal for my protein, pigs, hearts, and ox kidneys. With rice and cabbage.

    Sainsburys/nectar will send you point offers on things you already buy to tempt you back in the stores . 100points = 50p? So basically 50p off in this case.
